A manufacturer’s warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. Parts such as brake pads or filters for instance are designed to be used over time in the normal operation of the vehicle and be replaced as required.
The warranty also does not cover cosmetic damage or that resulting from external influences like stone chipping, bird droppings or acts of God. Rust resulting from external influences like excessive exposure to sea blast is also not covered.
All manufacturers require that the vehicle be serviced as recommended by the authorised dealer in order for the warranty to be honoured.
Some warranty packages consist of a basic period plus an extended warranty. This extended warranty period may not be available for vehicles registered for some commercial functions. Please contact us for more information on this.
